Amigos Unidos Spanish Immersion
Learning much more than a language
The Amigos Unidos (Friends United) Spanish Dual Language Program provides students in grades K-8 with the unique experience of learning in two languages. Bringing together native Spanish speaking students with native English speakers to learn alongside one another with guidance from a bilingual teacher, the Spanish Immersion program spans from kindergarten through eighth grade.
The Amigos Unidos Spanish Dual Language Program combines the district’s outstanding curriculum and high academic standards with the Spanish language and culture to deliver an exceptional dual immersion experience. This gives each student a new perspective of the global environment in which we live.
Because we have expanded our sections at Lake Elmo Elementary, we currently have openings for new learners. It is now easier than ever to join our community—no separate application or lottery is currently required.
